ESC IMPLEMENTS ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY ON REFEREE ABUSE

This policy has been developed to address the growing (and unfortunate) trend of referee abuse in youth sports, in general, and youth soccer, in particular.  Our policy, as set forth in the document below, is simple: Any physical or verbal abuse of referees is as unacceptable as physical or verbal abuse of players.  It is never acceptable for spectators to criticize referees, verbally or otherwise, at an ESC event.

In 2022, we will offer four programs:

Spring/Summer:  Registration begins January 15th, 2022.  

  • Open to Grades Pre K (starting K in Fall 2022) through 12th Grade
  • May - July
  • Cost:  $130  (9-12 weeks of play)
  • Format:  1 hour sessions
    • Pre K - 2nd Grades (30 mins skills with Instructors/30 mins game)
    • 3rd - 12th Grades (60 min games plus final 2 weeks of playoffs)

Fall Season:  Registration begins July 15th, 2022

  • Open to Kindergarten - 8th Grades
  • Early September - mid October
  • Cost:  $45.00
  • Format:   All Games

Fall Adult League:  Registration begins July 20th, 2022

  • Open to anyone 25 years and over in the Edina community
  • Mid September 12th - mid October (Sunday mornings at 10am)
  • Cost:  $45.00

Winter Indoor Program:  Registration began late October, 2022

  • Open to Pre K - 2nd Grades
  • 3 Sessions (5 weeks per session)
